January, 2007: Madeline and Kevin are getting ready for the BBQ party season. Custom built into the design is a 42" LUXOR Grill with Double Access Door below, Double Side Burner, Triple Drawers, Propane/Trash Bin Holder, Sink, Single Access Door in sink cabinet, Paper Towel Holder, Undermount Refrigerator by others, and an Open Shelf area for bottles.
The high back wall behind the grill will be tiled and have granite shelves on each side and top for decorative planters. Also, in this wall will be a switch to operate two sconces and two outlets. The rest of the exterior will be finished with cultured stone and a granite countertop.
This deck was built perfect. Plenty of footings which made it very strong. The color of the decking is a perfect match to the stonework.

Ready for exterior finish w/Cultured Stone & Granite |
March, 2007: Madeline and Kevin have started the exterior finish. Their mason takes no shortcuts in prerperation of the stonework. Below left you will see how the mason applied a scratch coat to the wonderboard to ensure a solid bond to the stone.
Below details the placement of the stone and the ease of the application, and a good idea of how the finished exterior will look.
